With a unique background in science, Tom holds a four-year master's degree in Chemistry from Oxford University, which laid the foundation for his journey in the VFX industry. He embarked on his career in 2010 at The Mill, where he spent six years working on commercials before transitioning to the world of film as an FX Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).
