Their highly acclaimed documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits (2012), which delves into the final days of LCD Soundsystem, gained widespread recognition after its premiere at Sundance. Rolling Stone, NME, and The Guardian have all hailed it as one of the greatest music documentaries ever made. Recently, the directors embarked on another ambitious project, Meet Me In The Bathroom, based on Lizzy Goodman's extensive best-selling book chronicling the New York music scene in the early 2000s. This documentary, which premiered at this year's Sundance, features interviews and archival footage from influential bands like the Moldy Peaches, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, and LCD Soundsystem, paying homage to the post-punk revival.


In addition to their filmmaking pursuits, one of the directors, who is also a writer, adapted Max Porter's novel Grief Is the Thing with Feathers for the screen in collaboration with Film 4. Furthermore, they are currently in the process of developing a TV show pilot with Amazon Studios, showcasing their creative range.


For their debut in commercial directing, they drew upon their rock star credibility to create "Slow The Pace" for Kronenbourg. This memorable advertisement features the iconic and notoriously irascible frontman of Motörhead, Lemmy Kilminster, performing a stripped-down rendition of the classic "Ace Of Spades" in a French bar. Their foray into the world of commercials attracted prestigious clients such as Apple, Nike, Samsung, VW, BBC, and American Airlines. Their exceptional work garnered accolades from esteemed award ceremonies like Cannes Lions, British Arrows, Creative Circle, shots, Kinsale Sharks, and D&AD. Their achievements in the industry also earned them recognition, including being named among Campaign's top 10 directors in both 2018 and 2020.
