TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Good Ads Matter Awards are organised by Good Matters LLP, with its registered office located at 28-C, Prithvi Raj Nagar, Jhalamand Circle, Jodhpor, Rajasthan - 342005.

These Terms and Conditions govern the Good Ads Matter Awards (hereinafter referred to as the "Awards") and comprise the General Rules alongside the Entry Criteria.

These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the Good Ads Matter Awards Submission Guide, accessible at: https://www.goodadsmatter.com/post/guidelines-and-faq, which applies to all entries submitted for the Awards.

In the event of any discrepancy or conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the Submission Guide, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent necessary to resolve such inconsistency.

By submitting an entry to the Good Ads Matter Awards (hereinafter referred to as an "Entry"), each individual, company, or organisation (the "Entrant") affirms their eligibility to participate and fully agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions as well as the guidelines outlined in the Submission Guide.

1. GENERAL RULES

1.1 Awards Eligibility Period

To qualify for submission to the Good Ads Matter Awards, all entries must pertain to work that was commercially released and paid for by the client between 1 January 2024 and 10 April 2025.

2. SUBMISSION OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES

2.1. Entrants must submit their entries under one of the designated tracks, disciplines, and categories outlined in the Categories section of the Submission Guide. All entries must adhere to the specific eligibility criteria stated in the Submission Guide and be submitted in the prescribed format and media relevant to the chosen category.

2.2. Entries must be presented in the form in which they were originally commercially released or made publicly accessible. Requests for format modifications beyond those specified in the Submission Guide will not be entertained.

2.3. Submissions in all languages are accepted. However, any entry in a language other than English must be accompanied by a translation, formatted as per the requirements of the relevant category, as detailed in the Submission Guide.

2.4. If an entry has been developed in collaboration with another individual or entity, it is the responsibility of the submitting entrant to ensure that:

a. The entry is submitted by only one of the collaborating parties, who will be considered the official entrant and shall be accountable for all aspects of the submission.

b. In the event that the entry is shortlisted for an award, the entrant must provide Good Ads Matter with the names and details of all other individuals and organisations involved in the work, either at the time of submission or upon request for credit information.

2.5. To initiate an entry, entrants must visit the Entry Webpage, create an account, and select the appropriate track, discipline, category, subcategory, and, where applicable, the type of execution and work classification. Upon selection, the applicable entry fee will be generated, which must be paid via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

2.6. Entrants bear sole responsibility for accurately selecting the track, discipline, category, subcategory, and, where applicable, the execution and work type. Once these details have been chosen and the corresponding fee has been paid, they cannot be altered by the entrant.

2.7. Good Ads Matter retains the right to reassign entries to a more appropriate track, discipline, category, or subcategory at its sole discretion. Such changes may be made without prior notice to the entrant. However, Good Ads Matter is not obligated to correct or reassign incorrectly submitted entries.

2.8. Entrants must finalise and submit their entries before the applicable submission deadline. Until final submission, entrants may add, remove, or replace any materials within their entry. Once an entry has been officially submitted, no further modifications will be permitted. The submission deadline varies based on the date of entry creation and payment. All entries must be completed by the final deadline of 18 April 2025. If all mandatory fields are completed, the entry will be automatically submitted on the final deadline. Any entry with incomplete mandatory fields after this date will not be considered, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

2.9. Entry fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

2.10. Entries will be evaluated based on the quality of the submitted materials. Entrants must ensure that all assets are of high quality, as Good Ads Matter is not obligated to request replacements or alternative versions.

2.11. Entries that pertain to integrated campaigns may be required to submit specific elements of the campaign or evidence demonstrating that the campaign was executed across multiple platforms.

2.12. If an entrant becomes aware post-submission that their entry infringes upon any rights—including, but not limited to, copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or any legal or regulatory provisions—they must immediately notify Good Ads Matter to request the withdrawal of their entry from the awards.

2.13. Entrants may be required to disclose the extent to which Artificial Intelligence (AI) contributed to the creative development of their submission. Entries incorporating AI elements or tools are eligible provided all other criteria are met and a human creator is responsible for the final outcome. However, entries composed entirely of generative AI material, without human creative oversight, will not be considered.

3. JUDGING OF THE AWARDS

3.1. Good Ads Matter shall appoint a panel of judges, selected at its sole discretion, based on their expertise and qualifications to evaluate the submitted entries.

3.2. Entries will be assessed solely on the basis of the materials provided to Good Ads Matter. The judging process will take place between late April and May 2025.

3.3. Throughout the judging process, all jury members will be reminded of the Awards Rules and must consider whether each entry complies with them. Should any jury member raise concerns regarding an entry’s eligibility, the entrant will be required to provide relevant documentation or additional information as necessary to confirm compliance.

3.4. Good Ads Matter reserves the right to (i) temporarily suspend an entry from the awards pending an investigation and (ii) permanently remove an entry from the competition at any stage if the jury or Good Ads Matter determines that it does not meet the eligibility criteria or fails to comply with the Awards Rules.

3.5. Entrants must ensure they remain reasonably available to respond to any enquiries from the judging panel from the time of submission until the awards are presented.

3.6. All decisions made by the judging panel for the Good Ads Matter Awards are final. No discussions or correspondence regarding these decisions will be entertained.

4. REQUEST FOR CREDIT INFORMATION & IMAGES

4.1. Award-winning entrants must provide complete credits and high-quality images or any other requested materials for use by Good Ads Matter.

4.2. Entrants whose work is selected for inclusion in the Good Ads Matter Awards must submit full credits, images, or any other materials as requested.

4.3. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that all submitted credits are accurate and correctly reflect the contributions of individuals and organisations associated with the awarded entry. Once credits are confirmed, they cannot be altered, except in exceptional cases and solely at the discretion of Good Ads Matter.

4.4. Should Good Ads Matter approve any amendments to the credits, it will not be held liable for any inaccuracies in the published revisions.

4.5. Entrants must notify Good Ads Matter if there is a change in their primary submission contact. Ensuring the accuracy of all provided details, particularly updated contact information, is the responsibility of the entrant. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the entrant not receiving their results notification.

5. ACTION AGAINST ENTRANTS IN BREACH OF THE AWARDS RULES

5.1. Should Good Ads Matter have reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant or their submission has violated the Awards Rules, the entry in question will be immediately suspended from the competition and referred to the Good Ads Matter Board and Internal Advisors. This body will investigate the alleged breach, establish the relevant facts, and provide recommendations on any further actions or sanctions to be imposed on the entrant.

5.2. In addition to any other measures outlined in the Awards Rules, Good Ads Matter reserves the right, without prejudice to its other rights and remedies, to:a. remove an individual entry from the Good Ads Matter Awards; and/orb. disqualify an entrant along with all associated entries from the competition; and/orc. prohibit an entrant from participating in future Good Ads Matter Awards, as well as any other awards, competitions, or initiatives organised by Good Ads Matter.

5.3. The determination of an appropriate course of action in response to a breach of the Awards Rules shall be at the sole discretion of Good Ads Matter, and all decisions in this regard shall be final.

6. LICENCE TO USE ENTRIES AND REFERENCE AWARDS

6.1. By submitting an Entry, the Entrant grants Good Ads Matter, along with its representatives, agents, licensees, and assignees, an irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence in perpetuity. This licence permits Good Ads Matter to utilise the Entry in any manner, including but not limited to reproduction, copying, performance, display, broadcasting, publication, distribution, or transmission across all existing and future media formats. Additionally, Good Ads Matter may grant sub-licences for any activities it undertakes.

6.2. Each Entrant acknowledges that this licence extends to allowing Good Ads Matter to feature Entries for viewing and download on the Winner’s Showcase at www.goodadsmatter.com, as well as in the Good Ads Matter archive for purposes such as research, critique, review, and private study.

6.3. Good Ads Matter may receive requests from third parties seeking to feature Entries in programming or publications. Entrants acknowledge and consent to Good Ads Matter lending or sub-licensing Entries to such third parties on terms deemed appropriate, provided that the inclusion aligns with Good Ads Matter’s objectives and the Entrants are credited accordingly.

6.4. If an Entry is incorporated into a digital asset management system, database, or other archival compilation, such a database shall remain the sole property of Good Ads Matter.

6.5. Entrants agree to support Good Ads Matter in any legal action necessary to prevent the unauthorised use, sale, or distribution of Good Ads Matter’s publications, archives, databases, or any collection of compiled Entries.

6.6. Good Ads Matter will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any use of an Entry under this licence is accompanied by appropriate credit. The accuracy of these credits will be based entirely on the information provided by the Entrant.

6.7. Winners of the Good Ads Matter Awards may reference their award status for promotional purposes, provided the representation is accurate and complies with any relevant branding guidelines set by Good Ads Matter. If, at any point, an award is revoked (for example, due to disqualification), the Entrant’s right to reference the award will be terminated immediately upon written notification. The Entrant must promptly remove all references from any media within their control.

6.8. Good Ads Matter is under no obligation to publish or utilise any submitted Entry, despite holding the rights to do so under this licence.

No rights are transferred to the Entrant beyond those explicitly granted in these Awards Rules.

6.10. Conversely, Good Ads Matter acknowledges that all intellectual property and associated rights in an Entry remain vested in the Entrant or its licensors. No rights shall be transferred to Good Ads Matter except as expressly outlined in these Awards Rules.
