Sugandha Gupta is an accomplished marketing leader with over 11 years of experience in brand management, e-commerce, and sales across leading global and Indian companies. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Urban Company, she spearheads marketing strategies for the platform’s core services, including cleaning, beauty, AC maintenance, and home repairs. Under her leadership, Urban Company has successfully launched and scaled new categories such as wall panels and kitchen cleaning, reinforcing the brand’s dominance in the home services space.


Sugandha began her career as a Project Manager at Vedanta Aluminium Limited, where she played a key role in supervising the erection and commissioning of a 4X600 MW power plant. Recognising her keen analytical and leadership skills, she transitioned into the world of marketing after earning her PGPM in Marketing from Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.


During her time at MDI, she undertook live projects with brands like PepsiCo, Dabur, Lenovo, and HCL, gaining hands-on experience in consumer behaviour, brand strategy, and retail marketing. She also excelled in national marketing competitions, representing MDI at the L’Oréal Brandstorm Marketing Challenge and winning accolades for her strategic insights.


Initially starting as a Management Trainee, Sugandha spent nearly nine years at PepsiCo, where she rose through the ranks across various marketing and sales roles. As the Senior Brand Manager for Tropicana & Slice, she was instrumental in driving category growth, P&L management, and innovative marketing campaigns, including the "Thickest Mango Drink" campaign for Slice and the Tropicana Fruit & Veggies initiative, which engaged parents and children with creative storytelling. Her tenure at PepsiCo also saw her leading Mountain Dew’s marketing efforts, where she played a key role in launching the brand’s first-ever regional TVC with South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu, solidifying Mountain Dew’s market presence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.


At Reckitt, Sugandha took on the challenge of leading the Dettol hand hygiene portfolio, overseeing product innovation and marketing strategy. She successfully launched Dettol’s first-ever powder-to-liquid handwash, an affordable and accessible hygiene solution that reinforced Dettol’s commitment to public health.


Currently, at Urban Company, Sugandha is at the forefront of brand building, category creation, and marketing strategy. She has played a key role in expanding the brand’s service portfolio while crafting impactful campaigns like ‘Style My Space’ and Urban Company’s Diwali campaign.


Beyond her corporate achievements, Sugandha is deeply passionate about art, books, cinema, and travel, drawing creative inspiration from diverse cultures and storytelling formats. Her ability to blend analytical acumen with consumer-centric creativity has made her a force to be reckoned with in the world of marketing and brand management.
