Stitch Editing

Based in London & LA

Founded in 2010 by editors Leo King and Tim Hardy, Stitch Editing has established itself as a prominent destination for editors with extensive experience in the industry. The team at Stitch has a wealth of knowledge, having brewed countless cups of tea, handled rushes, and edited acclaimed advertisements under the guidance of some of the industry's finest directors. Through these experiences, their passion for the craft has grown, and they have come to appreciate the importance of creating an environment that fosters great ideas and yields award-winning work.

At Stitch Editing, the primary objective is to cultivate a relaxed and creative atmosphere where the art of editing and delivering high-quality service are paramount. They approach every project with unwavering enthusiasm, understanding that exceptional creative output is the result of meaningful collaboration and strong relationships with their clients.

In 2014, Leo King and Tim Hardy expanded their vision by establishing Homespun, driven by the belief that music videos and short films should receive the same level of attention and dedication as commercial projects. They recognize the potential of music videos as a fertile ground for fresh ideas and an outlet for artistic and technical creativity, which is crucial for both emerging and established editors to thrive and grow.

Building upon this philosophy, in 2015, they launched Homespun Yarns, an annual short film competition that nurtures exceptional ideas and emerging filmmaking talent. This initiative aligns with their overarching mission at Stitch Editing and Homespun: to provide a platform that supports and celebrates creative excellence.

Their clientele includes brands like Hershey's, Facebook, Hyundai, Nintendo Xbox, Reebok, Nike, Google, British Airways and Paco Rabanne to name just a few among countless others.

They have won multiple awards at prestigious festivals like Cannes, Clio, D&AD and BTA Awards among others.
