After completing her fine art painting education at The National University of Arts in Bucharest, Simona was drawn into the world of colour correction and crafting captivating visuals for the screen. Her artistic background, combined with a deep understanding of film, has earned her an exceptional international reputation in her field. Simona has worked as a freelancer and with esteemed post-production facilities, collaborating with clients worldwide, from New York to London, Tokyo, and Mumbai. Her portfolio includes an array of colour-graded films, music videos, and advertising campaigns for globally recognised brands.
For the past 15 years, Simona has been based in London, where she currently serves as the Head of Colour at Coffee & TV, a creative studio housing a talented collective of image-makers specialising in VFX, CG, and motion graphics. Together, they produce remarkable imagery for various projects.
Simona's expertise in color grading has garnered her numerous awards and accolades, with Televisual magazine ranking her among the Top-Ten Colourists in the UK. She actively participates in industry events, joining panels and serving on film craft juries for prestigious awards like D&AD, Creative Circle, UK Music Video Awards, Kinsale Sharks, and the British Arrows.
Equipped with a fully functional remote studio using DaVinci Resolve, Simona is capable of hosting virtual color grading sessions with clients from any part of the world.
