Based in Berlin (available remotely for projects globally), Sarah Salzmann is a digital colourist who holds a special appreciation for the analogue medium.
Her journey began as a full-time generalist at Rekorder, a film production company based in Berlin. There, she gained valuable professional experiences across every stage of the commercial workflow. Through creating, editing, and colouring in-house content, Sarah progressively advanced to taking on grading projects for esteemed clients like BMW.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Art History & Film Studies, Sarah possesses a strong foundation in film analysis, theory, and history, which greatly benefits her creative work.
Having completed the UP.GRADE program for colourists, Sarah is well-equipped with extensive knowledge of post-production workflows, camera and delivery formats, color management, ACES, HDR, and VFX grading. Since graduating from the program in 2018, she has been working as a freelance colorist.
Some of the brands Sarah has worked with are Jagermaester, Sprite, Asics, MINI, McDonald's and Audible to name a few.
