Santosh Padhi, also known as Paddy, is a renowned Indian advertising professional and the Chief Creative Officer, Wieden + Kennedy India.
Prior to his current role. Padhi was serving as a Chief Creative Officer & Founder at Taproot Dentsu.
A graduate from Sir J J Institute of Applied Art. Paddy started his career with DDB Mudra, he then moved to Leo Burnett, where he was an Executive Creative Director and the National Head of Art.
He founded Taproot India in 2009, which was later acquired by Dentsu to become Taproot Dentsu.
Taproot Dentsu has been lauded the world over and has produced game-changing work, such as Odds for adidas and Pooja Didi, a film for Facebook that was awarded two D&AD – a Wood Pencil for Casting and a Graphite Pencil for Sound Design and Use of Music.
Padhi has created several award-winning campaigns for brands such as Airtel, Pepsi, and The Times of India, among others. His work has won numerous awards, including several Cannes Lions, D&AD, and One Show awards.
Apart from his work in advertising, Padhi is also an accomplished artist and has held several exhibitions of his paintings. He is known for his passion for creativity and his ability to inspire his team to push the boundaries of what is possible.
