As one of the most distinguished colourists in the industry, Sam Gilling has built a strong reputation for his exceptional work. Originally from the UK, Sam spent the last eight years in Vancouver, Canada, before joining BaconX in 2023.
Throughout his career, Sam has collaborated with renowned directors like Patrick Tracy, Santiago Dulce, David Findlay, and Eliel Ford. His impressive portfolio features prestigious brands such as Nike, Tanqueray, Louis Vuitton, and Ebay, showcasing projects that have received critical acclaim and recognition.
Sam is currently a Senior colourist at BaconX in Copenhagen, Denmark. Bacon X is the sister company of Bacon Production that works independently with a variety of clients worldwide across film, advertising, TV and music videos for post production.
Some of Sam's most revered work includes Carlton 'Imported From Drylandia', Corona 'The Sign That Makes Us Believe', Air Jordan 'Don't Get Caught' and Tanqueray 'Pairings' among many others.
