Rita Puig-Serra

Rita's work can be best described by the word "depth." Through a combination of personal and commercial endeavors, her portraits and still lifes delve into the genuine essence of their subjects, unraveling the complexities of human nature and addressing both personal and universal concerns. Rita seamlessly navigates between personal projects and commercial assignments, showcasing her versatility as an artist.


After completing a Bachelor's degree in Humanities and a Master's degree in Comparative Literature, Rita pursued studies in Graphic Design and Photography. Her debut project, "Where Mimosa Bloom," was published in 2014 by Editions du Lic. In 2016, she was awarded the 20th Fotopres La Caixa grant alongside Dani Pujalte to produce their work, "Good Luck with the Future." She has also collaborated on projects such as "Hiberticer" with Salvi Danés and David Bestué, with the support of Terralab.cat. Currently, Rita is working on a new personal project set to be exhibited in 2023.


Rita's notable works, including "Where Mimosa Bloom" and "Good Luck with the Future," have garnered nominations for various awards and received recognition from the industry.
