Ricky Gausis, a seasoned colourist, holds a senior position at MPC's LA Studio. He has garnered widespread recognition for his exceptional work on some of the most prominent commercials, music videos, and television productions of today.
Ricky's journey with MPC began as a runner at the London office, and he later transitioned to the LA studio in 2012. Throughout his career, he has developed a distinctive and sought-after grade style, earning praise from top directors and amassing an impressive and diverse portfolio of projects.
Among his notable collaborations is his work with director Hiro Murai, which includes the multi award-winning FX series "Atlanta," celebrated with Two Emmys and Two Golden Globes. Additionally, Ricky worked on Childish Gambino's groundbreaking music video "This is America," which has amassed over 300 million YouTube views to date, as well as several impactful Nike spots like "Skates" and "The Tattoo."
Notable projects in his repertoire include Palms Casino's "From Dust to Gold," Apple's "Behind the Mac" campaign, and a short film for Chinese New Year directed by Lulu Wang, among other ongoing Apple projects. Ricky has also contributed to Facebook campaigns directed by Calmatic and Xbox projects directed by Ian Pons Jewel.

He was also shortlisted in the Colour Grading category at the 2018 AICE Awards for Nike's "Skates."
