An FTII graduate, Rangarajan has primarily worked in the Marathi Film Industry. Following his debut on the silver screen with the movie 'Moi Marjaani', he assumed the role of Director of Photography in films such as Kamakshi, Kumbh, Good Luck Jerry and Shikara (directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra).
His most recent feature film, '12th Fail' won the hearts of people across the country and beyong. He brilliantly enhanced the film's grounded, street-level storytelling with his cinematography. Through a realistic lens, he skilfully depicted the city streets and the compelling narratives of the characters, seamlessly aligning with the film's narrative style.
The film has also won an award for 'Best Cinematography' the Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons Awards, adn was nominated at the Filmfare for the same.
Rangarajan has also done some notable commercials in the realm of advertising. Some of them include Absolut India Limited Edition 'Absolut India Journey' campaign, Dulux Simply Refresh, 24 Mantra Organic, Airtel Thanks, India Soccer League Kolkata, Swiggy Santa, Men of Platinum and MBB Manoj Bajpayee.
