Prasad Naik is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based in Mumbai, originally from South Goa. A graduate of the J.J. School of Applied Arts (1996), he began his career early, taking on his first paid assignment for Spykar during college.
Known for his minimalistic and detail-oriented style, Prasad has worked across fashion, lifestyle, and advertising, collaborating with global brands like Vogue EyeWear, PH Purses, L’oreal, Swiss International Airlines, Ravissant, Nivea, Dove, Killer Jeans, Pantene, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung and many more.
His editorial contributions span publications such as Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Wallpaper, Elle, and L’Officiel. In 2013, he received the Photographer of the Year award at the Vogue Beauty Awards. Over his two-decade career, he has photographed Bollywood icons, including Sridevi, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor, earning a reputation for capturing emotion and individuality.
