Piyush Mishra


Piyush Mishra is a multi-talented Indian film actor, music director, lyricist, singer, script and dialogue writer, and theatre director and Hindi playwright. He started his career as a theatre actor and went on to write and direct several plays. Mishra made his film debut with Mani Ratnam's Dil Se in 1998 and won critical acclaim for his performance as Kaka in Vishal Bhardwaj's 2003 film Maqbool.


He has also worked as a lyricist and wrote the dialogues for several films, including The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002), which won him the Zee Cine Award for Best Dialogue. Piyush Mishra has also acted in television series and is a well-known figure in the Indian entertainment industry. He has written the script for the film Shamshera and served as a dialogue writer for the movie starring Ranbir Kapoor. Additionally, he has authored several books, including "Jab Shahar Hamara Sota Hai" and "Gagan Damama Bajyo.
