Paul Watts

Paul Watts, a British film editor, has gained recognition for his work on the critically acclaimed film "Under the Skin" produced by A24. The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and received a BAFTA nomination.


Watts has formed a close collaboration with director Jonathan Glazer, editing his short film "The Fall" as well as their most recent A24 feature, "The Zone of Interest," which starred Sandra Hüller and Christian Friedel. This film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and received the esteemed Grand Prix award. Additionally, Watts has contributed his editing skills to projects such as "The Marriage of Reason & Squalor," featuring Rhys Ifans and directed by the Chapman Brothers, "Strasbourg 1518" produced by BBC Films, and "Keeping Rosy" directed by Steve Reeves, which garnered a nomination for a British Independent Film Award.


Aside from his work in feature films, Watts possesses extensive experience in the commercial realm, having edited advertisements for prominent brands including Facebook, Nike, Hennessy, National Lottery, and Volkswagen, among many others. His remarkable talent has been recognized with numerous accolades throughout his career, including British Television Advertising Arrows, D&AD Pencils, Creative Circles, Cannes Lions, and Clios awards.
