Mukesh Chhabra is one of India’s most influential casting directors, a filmmaker, and an actor with a career spanning nearly two decades. As the founder of Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company (MCCC), established in 2008, he has transformed the casting landscape of Indian cinema, discovering and nurturing talents like Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Mrunal Thakur, and Pratik Gandhi.
Chhabra has been the casting force behind some of Bollywood’s biggest films and series, including Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bombay Velvet, Scam 1992, Jawan, Dunki, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Dil Bechara, which also marked his directorial debut. With a background in acting from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts and a nine-year association with the National School of Drama’s Theatre in Education program, he brings a deep understanding of performance to his craft.
From redefining casting in Hindi cinema to mentoring the next generation of actors, Mukesh Chhabra continues to shape the future of storytelling on screen.
