Mayank Sharma, a self-taught photographer, pursued a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Ramaiah Institute of Technology, but his passion for photography overpowered him.
Mayank strives to blur the lines between commissioned work and his artistic desires. He spent four years capturing the Indian music scene from 2010-2014, earning him recognition as one of the youngest music photographers in the country by MTV Noise Factory. He was also one of the shortlisted contestants for National Geographic's cover shoot, Season 4. Currently, he has worked with prominent names such as Varun Bahl, L’Oréal, Vogue India, Amazon.in, Leela hotels, Radisson, JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, among others.
Mayank's photography is deeply rooted in capturing the essence of the beautiful chaos that unfolds in green rooms. He has a knack for capturing raw, nervous energy of artists, revealing their true selves.
