Maurizio, originally from Pescara, a town in Central Italy, initially pursued a career in Law after studying it at university. However, his passion for photography and portraiture emerged during his time as a copywriter in the advertising industry. Captivated by this newfound love, Maurizio made a swift career change, acquiring his own camera in 2009. His photographic style is characterized by bold and highly stylized visuals that blend realism with a touch of ambiguity.
Despite being self-taught, Maurizio has quickly established himself as a full-time photographer since 2011, amassing an impressive portfolio. His client list includes esteemed publications such as GQ USA, Playboy, Marie Claire, Elle UK, Wired, Wall Street Journal, Suddeusche Zeitung Magazin, Men's Health USA, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Wallpaper*. Moreover, he has collaborated with renowned fashion brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Maurizio's talent has gained recognition, and in 2015 he was selected as one of PDN's 30 emerging photographers. Over the past three years, his work has been exhibited in prominent cities such as Los Angeles, London, Milan, and Bologna, further showcasing his artistic prowess and vision.
