Based in Delhi

Former Chief Creative Officer at Dentsu Creative India, Joy is currently a Creative Director at .POTNTIAL, a global brand and design company.
He started his professional journey all the way back in 1993 as a Copywriter at FCB Ulka. Thereafter, he steadily and consistently grew into the roles of Copy Supervisor, Creative Director, Regional President - North & East and Regional Creative Officer at Lowe Lintas, and ultimately the Chief Creative Officer at Dentsu Creative, which he left just a few months ago to start his new role.
Amid all this, in the late 1990s, he had even briefly started his own creative venture, a production company named 'Lumiere Films'.
With a belief that consumers and culture are always in beta, and so should brands and ideas be, Joy delves head-first into the nuances of storytelling. Another strong belief he plays by is adding 'socially-meaningful' dimensions to brand ideas wherever he can. These very analogies have have helped him create successful campaigns, and earned him several marketing and advertising awards like The One Show and D&AD.
His campaign for Maruti Suzuki, the creative work for which he led for almost a decade, titled 'Kitna Deti Hai', has been cited by Brand Equity among the most iconic ads that have shaped Indian advertising. Joy is the creative mind behind the launch of Google Pay (Tez) in India, while taking another of his campaigns for Google Railwire, titled #StoriesFromTheStation to the Cannes Finalists' list in 2019.
Among his brand portfolio are housefold names like Google, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Dabur, Maruti Suzuki, JK Tyres, and Spicejet,
