Jeff Low

Jeff Low, originally from Toronto, took a unique path to become a director. Initially a talented bass guitarist and keyboard player, he spent nearly a decade as a full-time musician, working on diverse projects ranging from jazz to punk rock. During this time, Jeff started working on-set as a production assistant, which sparked his interest in filmmaking. Driven by his passion for the craft and supported by his amiable personality, he swiftly climbed the ranks in commercial production, collaborating closely with renowned directors as an executive producer.

Now an award-winning director in his own right, Jeff has gained recognition for his remarkable work. His standout commercial spot "Cat" for Skittles' Touch the Rainbow campaign generated 1.5 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, accumulating over 7 million views to date. The campaign as a whole received two Gold Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival. Jeff's work for other leading brands has also been acknowledged by esteemed organizations such as Communication Arts, The One Show, Cannes Lions, the London International Awards, and The Bessies.

Notably, Jeff's clever and memorable campaigns "Control" for Tena Men and "Please Not Them" for the UK Lotto placed him on the shortlist for Shots Magazine's 2015 Director of the Year, as well as Campaign's compilation of the year's top ten directors. He further directed Heinz's Super Bowl 50 commercial "Wiener Stampede," which was exceptionally well-received and regarded as one of the standout ads of the event.

While renowned for his comedic style, Jeff approaches each project strategically. In preproduction, he thoughtfully deconstructs the conceptual foundations of each undertaking. In certain cases, he even collaborates as a writer with creative teams from advertising agencies to bring forth his distinctive offbeat style.
