
ELIGIBILTY
The entrant must be a Brand, Agency, Production Company or Individuals who have/has worked on the submitted entry.
The work must have been published or commercially released between January 01, 2024, and April 10, 2025.
In case of pro bono work, your entry is eligible if:
i. The charity has a formal contractual relationship with the entrant agency;
ii. The charity has authorised the work to be published;
iii. Provided that Good Ads Matter reserves the right to request confirmation from the media owner if media/airtime was provided on a pro bono basis.
Your work must be an Indian ad/campaign, i.e. made for Indian audiences and platforms. International work will not be accepted.
To enter under any 'Under 30' category, the entrant's date of birth must be on or after January 01, 1994.
SUBMISSION
There is no restriction on the number of times a single piece of work can be submitted in this category so long as the chosen sub-categories are appropriate and relevant to the context.
The same piece of work cannot be submitted by two or more companies/individuals under the same sub-category.
The links you provide must be functional links and with public access. Links that do not work will not be considered further in the judging process and will be eliminated promptly.
While entering the subcategory "Best Use of Budget" under any category, you must provide a pdf with:
i. the total budget
ii. the breakdown and allocation of the budget
iii. the challenges faced and overcome
iv. the end result
For the subcategories under Colour Grading, it is highly recommended that you share a 'Before-After' clip of the main film, so the Jury can better judge your craft and expertise.
While entering the sub-category "Under 30" under Direction, Cinematography, Writing, Photography, Editing and Music, you must provide a valid identification document with your date of birth mentioned.
The details that you enter here will be used to raise an invoice for your entries. Please ensure these are correct.
While filling your details and attaching your work, it is of utmost importance that you ensure you have filled the right details. Good Ads Matter does not take accountability of errors made on the Entrant's end. Errors in attachments, payment methods, entrant details can lead to immediate disqualification.
LANGUAGE
The work must be submitted in its original language, which may be Hindi, English or any other language.
It is suggested that the submitted work include English subtitles, so the International Jury can better judge the entry.
JUDGING
Your work will be judged by a Jury of some of the best Indian and International creative minds, under the judging criteria provided to them.
Note that the Jury's decision is final and absolute. Their discretion cannot be negotiated in any capacity.
In case the Jury deduces that the quality of work submitted in the category is not up to the mark, they may choose to declare no winners in the category.

FAQ
Is non-commercial work eligible to be entered in the Good Ads Matter Awards?
- Non-commercial work is eligible to be entered only under one circumstance, that is, under the category of 'Use of AI (Non-commercial)' in Film Craft.
Is Director's Cut eligible to be entered in the Good Ads Matter Awards?
- Yes, Director's Cut is eligible under every subcategory across Film Craft. However, under the Creative categories, you must enter only client-approved and officially released work.
Can I courier physical material to the Good Ads Matter office?
- No. As an online Awards show, you may only submit digital assets and campaign requirements to us via online submission portals.
My work was created before the entry dates. Can I still enter?
- No. Only work that has been published between 01 January, 2024, to 10 April, 2025, are eligible to enter.
What is the Judging Criteria?
- The primary judging criteria across categories are:
i. Idea
ii. Craft & Execution
iii. Relevance to Context
Note that for the category of Film Craft, your work will be judged on Craft first, and for the category of Creative, it will be judged on Execution first.
Can I submit multiple deliverables of a single campaign in one entry?
- No. You may only submit a single piece of work per entry. However, in case of the subcategory 'Best Campaign of the Year' under Direction (Film Craft) and Film (Creative), you may enter up to 5 pieces of work from the same campaign.
Will I receive an invoice of my payment?
- Yes, after successfully filling the form and completing the payment, you will receive a GST invoice to the e-mail address mentioned in your form. Please ensure you put the correct registered name, address and GST number in the form, to ensure you get an accurate invoice.
How are the Best Brand, Best Production Company, Best Post-production Company, Best Independent Agency and Best Advertising Agency decided?
- The Best Production Company and Post-production Company are given to the respective companies that win the maximum number of prices under the category of Film Craft.
- The Best Brand, Independent Agency and Advertising Agency are given to the respective companies that win the maximum number of prices under the categories of both Creative as well as Film Craft.
