Fouad Gaber


Fouad Gaber, born and raised in Peckham, South London, comes from a multicultural background with an Egyptian father and a Scottish mother. Growing up in a diverse environment and influenced by his Muslim upbringing, Fouad's creative journey has been shaped by these cultural experiences.


His passion for editing emerged through his work on music videos, and he honed his skills by joining Trim, a renowned editing company. In 2018, Fouad's exceptional talent was recognized when he won the Best Editing award at the UKVMA for his work on Chaka Khan's "Like Sugar" music video, directed by Kim Gehrig.


Fouad has contributed his editing expertise to numerous acclaimed campaigns for renowned brands such as Adidas, FIFA, Calvin Klein, Nike, Pinterest, Beats, and TK Maxx, among others. Additionally, he has worked on music videos for esteemed artists including Mura Masa, A$AP Rocky, Elton John, Jorja Smith, Slowthai, and Christine & the Queens.


Recently, Fouad took a significant step into the narrative realm by editing "Medusa Deluxe," a feature film directed by Thomas Hardiman, set for release in Summer 2023 by Mubi and A24. This marks his venture into long-form storytelling.


Fouad splits his time between Barcelona and London, and he is represented by Trim in the UK, a testament to his standing as a talented and sought-after editor in the industry.
