Cameron Marygold, a talented colourist, has recently joined the ranks of LA-based Ethos Studio, a prominent post-production company that specialises in colour, editing, and visual effects.
Starting his journey in the industry as a mixing engineer, Marygold later made a shift to picture work, where he found a passion for evoking emotions through the art of colour.
Originally from Los Angeles, he initially pursued a musical path, playing guitar and drums in various local bands before delving into mixing soundtracks for TV and film, notably contributing to the soundtrack of the film "Crazy Rich Asians." During the COVID-19 pandemic, as remote work became more prevalent, Cameron took the opportunity to explore colour grading more deeply in his free time.
Since then, he has earned notable credits as a colourist, working on the launch film for SZA's 2022 album "SOS," as well as music videos for artist Lizzy McAlpine. Additionally, Cameron has collaborated on film projects with brands such as Tory Burch, Dazed magazine, Hypebeast, Alpha Industries, and BMW, alongside visual artist Joshua Vides.
Among his commercial projects, he has contributed his expertise to the Vans 2022 holiday campaign and various marketing campaigns for Nike.
