Asha Kharga is the Chief Customer & Brand Officer and a Member of the Group Executive Board at Mahindra Group, where she leads corporate brand strategy, communications, customer experience, and Mahindra Culture Festivals. As the Brand Custodian, she drives the Group’s purpose-led marketing and reputation management while overseeing customer data initiatives across its diverse business verticals.

With 27 years of experience spanning FMCG, financial services, and advertising, Asha has played a pivotal role in shaping iconic brands. Before Mahindra, she was the Group CMO at Axis Bank, led marketing at Unilever India, and worked with top agencies like Leo Burnett, JWT, and TBWA, handling global brands such as P&G, Unilever, and Samsonite.

A recognized industry leader, Asha is the Chairperson of FICCI’s Women Empowerment Committee (2024), chairs Mahindra Group’s Diversity Council, and has served on the boards of Mahindra Lifespaces, Mahindra Racing UK, and Mahindra Holdings Ltd. Her contributions have earned her accolades, including India’s Top 20 Most Influential Women in Marketing & Advertising (BW), IMPACT’s 50 Most Influential Women (2020, 2023), and Storyboard18 Visionary (CNBC, 2024).

With a deep understanding of brand-building in a complex consumer landscape, Asha continues to shape Mahindra’s identity beyond automobiles, reinforcing its position as a global conglomerate with purpose at its core.
