Anu Joseph

Anu Joseph is the Co-Founder and Creative Vice Chairman of Creativeland Asia.


Anu creative journey in writing began at the tender age of 12 when he published his first set of poems. His passion for writing led him to pursue a degree in Journalism at Christ College, Bangalore. In 1999, his career path took an unexpected turn when he received an opportunity to work as a trainee copywriter at Grey Worldwide, Bangalore. During his time there, he wrote copy for brands like Lee, Arrow, and Britannia.


Anu met Sajan Raj Kurup during an exchange program to Grey Mumbai. In 2007, when Raj founded Creativeland, Anu was part of the founding team as a Creative Director. He is behind campaigns like Godrej's 'If Rooms Could Talk' and #DilSeSalute, and Netflix's recent #NetflixForAll; all of which prove his ability to blend creativity with emotional and quirky storytelling.


His brand portfolio also includes Frooti, Audi, Micromax, United Colors of Benetton, Deutsche Bank, Cinthol and Godrej Expert, among several others.
