Alex Hay has worked in advertising for over 20 years. She is currently Executive Producer, Managing Director and Partner of Australian production company, Rabbit. Her extensive leadership experience also includes Head of Broadcast at George Patterson Y&R Sydney, Executive Producer at Jungle and Account Supervisor on the United Nations and Citibank accounts at Young & Rubicam New York.
Alex is passionate about storytelling and the creative process. This is why up and coming and acclaimed directors trustingly place their visions in her hands.
The pursuit of inclusive and original stories extends to Alex’s role as Director of Thumper, an emerging long-form division of Rabbit.
Alex has served on the AWARD Executive Committee and was a finalist for the B&T Women in Media Awards. Her most recent contribution to the advertising community is being a mentor in the London International Awards’ Creative LIAisons programs. Alex has also been invited to judge major international award shows such as the AWARD Awards and CICLOPE Asia. By taking on there roles / participating in the global industry, Alex continues her commitment to strengthen community and encourage new talent.
